Came across an interesting Bertolt Brecht quote recently

Reading an article about Angela Merkel from several years ago, she was giving a speech in the Bundestag, and after she was done, the opposition was given time to rebut her. A minority party came up and said that she was enabling facism. Said minority party were pretty much facists. A member from another party came up and let loose this zinger from Brecht:

“Who does not know the truth is simply a fool, yet who knows the truth and calls it a lie is a criminal.”
