My desire is for three working adapters: one to live at my computer so I can back up laptops without issue, one to live in my backpack so I can just grab my laptop and go without having to pack up an adapter, and one to live plugged in in front of the couch/TV.  I usually keep the one with the de-mylinated covering for my desktop as I don't want to leave bits of shredded plastic if I use my power supply in public.  I guess I'll try another power supply swap when I'm in Phoenix for Thanksgiving.
