In Cloudcroft, north of the highway is considered the 'poor' side of town and obviously it's small enough that when it snows like this, the entire town gets hit. The funny thing is, if you live on the north side and have an eastern exposure, you get good melt, and today's been sunny and fortunately no new snow. The south side, the allegedly 'rich' side, has so many thick pockets of trees that they get very poor sun exposure and thus very little melt and have icy snow all winter long.
Teach them to be snobs! ;-)
