Beethoven's genome analyzed!
Very interesting stuff. The scientists/researchers had multiple hair samples available to them with varying levels of provenance and chain of ownership. The analysis showed many things, among which he was suffering from Hep-B. No solid conclusions as to what caused his deafness.

I haven't watched it yet, but I'm sure it's cool! I remember back in the '90s I was doing IT for a police dept and took my dad and aunt on a tour that included the crime lab, which was in the basement at the time along with IT. One of the techs was explaining the way DNA sequencing worked, and a light bulb went off for me - it's very similar to fractal distillation of petroleum!
