For my programmer friends: a new mono-spaced font, completely free from Intel

It's called Intel One Mono, and at my first glance, it's pretty decent, though I'm not too sure that I care for the lower case L. They have an extremely unrestrictive license for it, and lots of instructions on how to download it from Github and incorporate it into most major editors.

That looks pretty nice. That lower case L is a bit odd but at least it doesn't look like a capital I - I guess.

Hm. Certainly not BAD, but not sure it's worth changing over to.

I've been an Anonymous Pro user for years, and before that Andale Mono, but I'll give this one a try. :D Thanks!

I like the lower space L. Makes it distinct from the 1 and capitol I.

What I don't like is that the b d p and q are the same shape flipped/mirrored, which makes it harder dyslexic folks. FFS. Put SOMEthing to differentiate them.

Interesting to see how many different monospace fonts someone wants to have available and used around. I'm surprised that things that need to have specific delineation, like URLs, don't have monospace fonts required in the address bar or similar.
