I had really hoped for Vonnegut, oh well

I honestly don't recall if I've ready any Clement. I probably have, but obviously it hasn't stuck in the tiny thing that I call a mind.

I am:
Hal Clement (Harry C. Stubbs)
A quiet and underrated master of "hard science" fiction who, among other things, foresaw integrated circuits back in the 1940s.
