I liked the first animated movie they did, too. Haven't seen the second one.

I haven't seen the animated ones, just the first live action. Quite liked it.

Hee! Cerebus (the comic strip) had an occasional walk-on character called Elrod of Melvinbone, IIRC. Sort of a Foghorn Leghorn character.

It is rumored to be an adaptation of Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness.

Has there been anything but shlock Lovecraft movies yet? Granted, there haven't been very many, but still!
