Somewhat video related: Bill and I can't remember a particular show that we were laughing about and I thought maybe Russet might know what it is.

It featured a nerdy little guy sitting on a stool in front of a green-screen that displayed constellations as he waxed with great earnest about the stars in the sky on that particular night. Ring any bells?

Yeah, I remember Star Hustler. They sometimes showed him on KAET in Phoenix. He was pretty funny, hopelessly schlocky.
