Sometimes I think it would be better for all of us if the government just fessed up and admitted they were spying on everyone, the way that the Brits do. Then, at least, you could be certain you had to take precautions, instead of wondering whether or not they're listening in this time. I think it would be better for everyone, especially since the NSA would start having new algorithms to have to break.
