Betty White just passed away, 99 years young

She was scheduled to perform a 100th birthday gala on January 17th, her birthday.

What a career! She will be so sorely missed. What a woman, what a life.

One of the last celebrities to Sail West this year probably. I'm glad she was in such good shape at such an age.

Wow. She made it a long time. And a very impressive career, as you say.

Aww, shorts! Betty White was supposed to join Richard Nixon in the "head in a jar" sort of immortality. Nearly 100 years, though, is pretty impressive, and working most of it in the career she loved. And apparently unrepentant in the snark all the way there. Wonder if she and Carrie Fisher are having a laugh at the rest of us.
