RIP: Comic Louie Anderson

Wow. He was a very funny guy. Complications from cancer got him. Makes me very happy that my dad's two cancers were successfully treated: one completely cleared, one being suppressed and continuing treatment with home chemo pills.

Most recently Louie was starring in the clown comedy series Baskets, something that I've been wanting to watch. Aside from his work as a stand-up comic, he did such diverse things as host the TV game show Family Feud after Richard Dawson retired.

While I didn't go in for his comedy style, a lot of other people clearly did, and cancer deserves the middle finger regardless of who it takes from us.
