Backbone is debatable, they know their chances of survival as an online news source with no broadcast is very, very low, so pulled out the bucks to hire a literally high-powered lobbyist. Capitalism at its best!

And I am never going to watch Newsmax anyway.
Bad enough so many of my patients watch FOX "News". UGH......
