Doctor who sold fake Covid vaccination cards loses his license to practice

A reporter got wind of it and ordered a card for her dog, which the doc happily sent to her. She sent the information on to the local board of medical examiners. He sold them to people whom he had never met, including to people out of state.

We need a lot more stories like this!

Excellent. Good that someone who chose to perpetuate fraud is being punished for it. A year of not getting a license seems rather light, however, in proportion to what kind of illness, infection, and suffering might have been caused by perpetuating this fraud.

Losing his practice for a year will cost him most of his patient base, simply on the basis of him not practicing.  Him losing his license will also cost him a certain percentage of his base, though probably another certain percentage would double-down on him.  With luck he'll just retire and count his winnings.

We can certainly hope that will be the case, since the outcome he was trying to perpetuate came to pass anyway.
