Trumps no good, very VERY bad day! Sidney Powell pleads guilty in GA and flips!
Sidney agreed to plead guilty to reduced charges, getting the RICO counts dismissed. She's pleading guilty to misdemeanors, will serve six years probation, pay restitution, write an apology letter to the citizens of Georgia - I really like that part! - and best of all, will testify against the other people charged in this sprawling racketeering case.
No mention as to whether she'll lose her legal license, I would expect it will be suspended until she completes her parole. At least she'll be saving a buttload of money from having to defend herself against those RICO charges!
While this settles Powell's situation in Georgia - FOR NOW, she's not free and clear. Apparently Jack Smith is looking over the possibility of charges against her. There is speculation that she previewed some extremely damning evidence and testimony that she's willing to produce on the witness stand under oath to get the charges against her reduced and dismissed. But therein is the fly in the ointment: I'm sure these reduced charges are entirely contingent on her producing against her co-defendants before she gets that plea agreement actually certified.
In other news, Arizona is increasing its investigation of the false electors issues from the 2020 election, which will not only involve Trump, but Rudy and I'm pretty sure Sidney, not to mention - or so I imagine - a whole clown-car full of a supporting cast. There's no telling when those charges will drop, but I expect they will. The wheels of justice may turn slow, but they grind exceedingly fine.

Sidney still has the voting machine case against her, and could have charges for the insurrection case in DC filed against her as she is almost certainly one of the unidentified, unindicted co-conspirators. No, she's far from out of legal jeopardy, she's just settled out of Georgia - thus far.

I sure hope she sings loud and clear regarding a certain low life. :o

While it wouldn't be the perfect result of all of them being sent off for a long time and required to pay ruinous penalties, if one or two manage to get away so that the vice squeezes the others harder, I suppose that's an acceptable price.

If she's willing to flip in Georgia, if Smith indicts her in DC, she may be quite willing to flip on His Most Royal Trumpmeister. You're absolutely right, Prisoner's Dilemma: first to flip has the most to offer and will get the most favorable terms.

There's an old saying about attorneys at trial: never ask a question that you don't know the answer. They're going to thoroughly depose her and vet anything that she says before they put her on the stand to do a dog and pony show for the jury. That way, if she lies on the stand, they'll have the deposition - made under oath - to nail her for lying under oath and they can then cancel her plea agreement, charge her again, and throw the book at her along with the additional charges of perjury. And Georgia Co-Defendant #3 plead guilty today! Though from what I read, he's not going to cooperate to provide testimony against the as of yet unflipped defendants.
