A good day, all in all.
Saw three movies, pretty much my normal rate: Finding Neverland (definitely recommended, will keep an eye out for the DVD), Incredibles (will definitely buy DVD), and After The Sunset (definitely recommended, good caper flick.
I’ll probably do a more detailed review later.
Swag haul: not much, not that I was expecting much. Got a Harkins t-shirt, good for a free popcorn whenever I go to a movie at Harkins and a friend gave me six movie tickets. I’ll probably get a gift from Russ when she arrives.
Dat’s it. It’s late, I’m tired, I’m gonna call my sweetie and go to bed.

We hoped to go see Unfortunate Events today, but Bill got a call yesterday for a 'quick' server tweak job for a local business. But the better call was the one last night from a company that is taking him on as a contractor with a base pay minimum of $650/day plus all expenses covered to teach Microsoft stuff -- and he can still take all his other jobs with other contractors too! We could be back to making six figures next year. (happy dance)
Ocean's 11, 11 & 12
The remake had more excitement, and was pretty dumb fun.
Ocean's Twelve lost focus. There was alot of good humor, and I liked it more than Ocean's 11, up until one part that I won't reveal. But let's just say it was a bit too much of Hollywood winking at themselves in the mirror, and I failed to suspend my disbelief.
Earthsea was kinda lame. As a movie unto itself it was tolerable, but compared to its source material (the original novels) it was rather .. crappy.
