Monday's inauguration TV viewership numbers: poor

I know that my having my TV play Inglorious Basterds for many hours made no difference, but it amused me. regardless, Monday's viewer numbers were lower than the 2017 numbers, and also lower than Biden's or either Obama inauguration numbers!

This makes me smile.

I did have to pay $4 to rent Basterds for 48 hours, I consider it money well-spent.

It is a plot!! The Democrats are lying about the viewer numbers!

That is excellent news. Too bad they didn't track those of us who either kept our radios off or turned them off the instant any inauguration news came up.

He also had at least two lawsuits filed against him on his first day, one as soon as he completed his oath regarding his Department of DOGGIE.

Also, a federal judge ruled that his cancelation of birthright citizenship was unconstitutional, which it blatantly was.  You can't nullify a constitutional amendment with a presidential order!  Only with another constitutional amendment, otherwise we'd have fixed certain loopholes a long time ago.

I do not know!  What would have been even more beautiful would be if it were one of his own appointees!  If I come across the article again, I'll try to remember to look at that info.

Appointed by Reagan in 1981!  He said to the government attorney "This is the worst violation of the constitution that I've seen in my 40 years on the bench!"  The guy asked for two weeks to plead his case, they judge said "This is the hearing, plead it now."

The article I read did state that the coverage was too long, and they could not determine at what point viewers tuned out. Regardless, he’ll state otherwise.

It was interesting to watch the ‘ceremony,’ like seeing a taped rally back at The Zeppelinfeld Arena, with his sycophants cheering in unison while the old guard watched sadly in the background.

Thank you!  While I am not a fan of the movie overall, there are parts that I do like and I think it is a good statement movie to overplay the events that were taking place Monday.

Well, of course. The only people who were interested in watching him a second time around were the people who had to cover it or the people who don't care whether they're seen as his supporters or no. For as much as he has covert supporters and people who won't publicly associate with him, but privately vote for him, most people still think that publicly displaying your support for him is a social faux pas.

Not that reality will make a dent in him, because he's already convinced himself and lined up his sycophants to say that it was the biggest and best ever and that nobody can compare to him.
