Update on the WB DVD rot problem

I heard from a friend last night that she had heard that this mainly affects double-sided DVDs where one side is a fixed aspect ratio, the other side is pan and scan.

Haven't confirmed this through other sources, but if so, could really speed up going through one's material.

A lot of those are list didn't seem to be double sided.
It would be nice if that was the case though. :o

I need to go through the list a little closer and start checking those that seem to be on the list. :o

Oh ugh. I already have so many things I need to do. Sorting through all the dvd's to find the WB ones is something I'm not looking forward to.

Ugh. Still not any fun to have rot affecting your discs. Certainly seems like the kind of thing someone might make a justification for the high seas over. Although special features can be difficult to find there, as opposed to the features themselves.
