I learned something that I never knew about snow

It's awfully dirty! I don't know that my car has been more dirty than when it snows up here. I guess I always expected it to be clean, but clean it ain't! I guess it's all the particulates and pollution picked up from all over the place.

I really hate druggies!

Once upon a time you could buy effective cough and cold medicine. It was effective because it contained pseudoephedrine. But then the druggies found that it was really useful in making bathtub meth. Now, because of the druggies, the rest of us can't get effective products like Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough & Cold. I have found it to be totally effective for me for controlling my cough and improving my sinuses, but now I can't buy it. Now you can only buy weaker things that aren't as effective or not effective at all. And I really hate buying random stuff off the shelf hoping that one will work: most of them won't, and you'll be popping $5-10 per trial to see if it does anything for you.


GRRR! They kept other drugs on the market that contain pseudoephedrine and just moved them behind the counter and required a log, WHY NOT COUGH SYRUP! I had to leave a class an hour early yesterday because I couldn't get my cough to stop. Stupid druggies.

Grrr! Stupid car!

I stop at Autozone for a new tire pressure gauge (my wife has absconded with my nice little digital), a radiator cap for Russet's Subaru, and a gallon of windshield wiper fluid. My tire pressure light came on today, I assumed one of my new front tires was over-pressure and it turns out my right rear tire is 25% low; I'll have to take care of that tonight.

But the windshield fluid was the interesting part. I start pouring. Continue pouring. I notice the jug is becoming lighter and start thinking that the fluid tank shouldn't hold that much liquid. Then I notice the steadily expanding puddle of fluid on the ground.

Damn tank apparently is broken/cracked.

*sigh*

I can't see this as part of hitting the rock two months ago as the impact was on the right side of the car (facing it) and the tank is on the left. Who knows. Maybe something froze and the expansion cracked the tank. Dunno.
