I learned something that I never knew about snow

It's awfully dirty! I don't know that my car has been more dirty than when it snows up here. I guess I always expected it to be clean, but clean it ain't! I guess it's all the particulates and pollution picked up from all over the place.

Well, the black and gray particles are pollution and exhaust. The brownish-red stuff is sand which is mixed with salt and spread on the road to melt the ice and improve traction. The sand gets everywhere.

But if you think your car is dirty NOW, just wait a couple of months. We're shaping up for quite a mud season this year.
