Happy poodle!

I finished off a plastic jar of peanut butter this AM. Yeah, maybe I could have scraped out another ounce, but it was pretty much done. So with Russet's permission, I gave it to Celeste.

Happy poodle! Unhappy plastic jar, I don't think they like canine's canines chewing on them.

My corgi, Tucker, used to love playing with plastic water bottles. I don't know it's something in the plastic they like chewing on.

Shadow right now likes plastic shopping bags. One fell on the floor and he kept jumping on and attacking it. Today he was dragging it around like a prize, in fact he dragged it downstairs. Animals are strange.

Critters are definitely strange. We had a cat named Softy, back in the days of paper bags being the norm, we kept them all in a lower cabinet. So obviously this particular cabinet was open a lot when we were putting away groceries. We don't know why, but she really liked this cabinet.

I remember once where she learned that if she did it right, she could bat the door and get it to bounce a little, sometimes just enough to catch with her claws and pull open enough to crawl inside on top of the paper bags.

Unfortunately the doors were spring-loaded and closed behind her.

Eventually she'd get bored but couldn't get out, so she'd bat at the door from the inside until we noticed and opened said door. It was kind of amusing to see the door bouncing seemingly of its own accord.

I miss my kitties. We lost Softy, her brother Mountain Climber, and her mother Candle to a pit bull, all in the space of about a week.
