The longest that I've spent in Albuquerque was an overnight stay, and the only place restaurant that I've tried there was a Waffle House (good waffles, but nothing resembling Oriental food).
You could take a tip from Rachel Ray and try contacting the Chamber of Commerce.
There's a pretty good place for Thai in Las Cruces, very good Pad Thai. They recently did an episode on Good Eats for Pad Thai, but it looks quite different. Then again, having never been to Thailand, who am I to quibble?
