A New Muppet Christmas Special!

Wednesday night, NBC. It's called Letters To Santa: A Muppet Christmas, but FYI: when I pulled it up on my Tivo, it was Muppet Christmas: Letters To Santa.

The Wired article has some video clips from the show, looks like it'll be amusing.

Not a bad special. Although I think I'm liking the Muppets more in full-length features.

Haven't watched it yet, got it on my Tivo. I really liked the Muppet Show format because you had variety and a short, three act, entertainment. Seems like I found the movies to be kind of long and verging on becoming tedious. I quite liked the first movie with its cameos, but I don't remember the others; it's been rather a while since I've seen any of them.

I would really like to get the TV shows that had John Cleese and Gene Kelly. Those are the two that I most vividly remember.

I'm sure they'll show up in the collections eventually. A co-worker put her finger on why it didn't seem right - there wasn't nearly enough jokes aimed squarely for the adults, intending totally to leapfrog the kids.

Yes. Sorry, that wasn't particularly clear there, was it?

My brain was also exceptionally fuzzy yesterday.
