There's an old saying that all evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing, and I certainly have been guilty of that over the last seven years.

True enough, but until now, any time someone went looking for proof that misdeeds were being done, they got heavily redacted bullshit or told that it was a matter of national security, and so they couldn't get confirming evidence.
