MSNBC to Keith Olbermann: Take a Hike

Keith was a major critic of Comcast buying NBC, and now that the merger has been approved (against the wishes of President Obama and many other opponents of media hyper-consolidation), he's out of a job. He probably got a major buy-out for them terminating his contract early, so I'm sure he's not hurting. Still, it'll be interesting to see where he lands.

Big buy-out, yes. Was a bit of a surprise to hear him. Maybe he'll go back to ESPN?

Also, an alternate take on the situation, saying that Olbermann should have seen it coming.
