You go, Zach! Bachmann was challenged to a debate by a NJ student who was pissed at Bachmann's displays of ignorance of the Constitution, Bachmann declined.

Good man, Zach! When proof is demanded, those without an argument will vanish in the night...or get elected to public office.

Sadly, they will sometimes get re-elected.

I don't care as much about personality as I do smarts. I want people smarter than me governing the country. You couldn't pay me to have a beer with someone like Dubya (ignoring the fact that I don't really like beer).

Well, the problem with people who are smarter than you running the country is that at least one political party in this country uses that as a wedge point - those "eggheads" that "know better than you" and want to control you with "big government", for example.
