That would be the ideal, but short of sending EMP bursts through the internet, I'm not sure how we'd get there.
Speaking of phone banking: we have a major one here. 1-800-Flowers used to have their phone bank in Alamogordo, they moved on a few years back and Xerox moved in to perpetuate some of the evil. You too can get $9 an hour to be abused all day long. It's no wonder most phone bank workers only last a month or two, I just don't have that kind of sociopathy.
Maybe we could pull a 2600 and have a voicemail or answering machine message that consisted entirely of tones that would force reset or format the computer dialer.
Yeah, I would think jobs that involve subjecting sometime to abuse, whether the caller or the called, would have long since been eliminated, but apparently not.
