Leaf me a loan
I've been doing a lot of fall foliage shooting, which obviously I haven't gotten around to posting, but here's two as a study in contrast.
This photo was taken on 10/26. It's on the road between Cloudcroft and Alamogordo that I drive several times a week.

I took this second image today. I've been noticing a steady decrease in the amount of yellow and now the trees or whatever they are are totally bare. There's been enough wind that anything that was changing color and drying out is pretty much done and all we're left with is green from the pines and sticks for everything else.

These trees or bushes or whatever, and I'm totally open to suggestions as to what they are as Russet doesn't know, are frickin' huge! I have no idea how tall they are, Russet guesses 40-50'.
