Great Faith Hill quote

"Somebody needs to teach you some class, my friend. You don't go grabbin' somebody else's, somebody's husband's balls, you understand me? That's very disrespectful."
-- Faith Hill, scolding an audience member who grabbed husband Tim McGraw's crotch during a concert

Chrysler now offering a lifetime warranty?

Apparently. For original owner only, and the vehicle must be inspected by a dealer every five years. And, natch, certain models are excuded.

Poodle identity theft?

Well, at least Celeste was fixed, so no one is going to claim to have her puppies. And she's never competed (she has a couple of features that would prevent her from winning), so we probably don't have to worry about it.

The writer played Vonnegut on Thanksgiving when he (the writer) was a kid. Later he met up with him again later in life.

Very good story. http://www.salon.com/tech/htww/2007/04/12/vonnegut/

IBM pipe dream of changing the way we drive

Nice concept, but it requires a rebuild of pretty much all of the roads into 'smart' roads and also assumes everyone has compatible technology and uses it. Maybe in 50-100 years we'll have something like this, but I doubt it in my lifetime.

Oooohkay!

You scored as Angel, Angel: Angels are the guardians of all things, from the smallest ant to the tallest tree. They give inspiration, love, hope, and positive emotion. They live among humans without being seen. They are the good in all things, and if you feel alone, don't fear. They are always watching. Often times they merely stand by, whispering into the ears of those who feel lost. They would love nothing more then to reveal themselves, but in today's society, this would bring havoc and many unneeded questions. Give thanks to all things beautiful, for you are an Angel.
