Oooh, now that's neat! Can we apply this technology to something like electric cars, too, so that they can get additional range?

I think it's automatic with electric cars. I'm fairly certain that the Prius also does it.

Ah, well, that's nice to know. I was just hoping if it wasn't in place, that some extra miles could be squeezed out of them by putting it in place. It's not like a ZEV like an electric is going to have a further reduction in emissions.
