Overheard in a Diner

thewayneWe had dinner at a local diner tonight and there were three college-age women sitting at a table having a tremendous amount of fun. And I know from experience that alcohol is not required to have a tremendous amount of fun. In fact, one of my best friend's wife, who sadly passed away unexpectedly last year, said at our wedding rehearsal dinner: "Everyone's getting funnier and funnier and no one's drinking!" She was a wonderful woman and a terrible loss.
Turns out that this week is spring break, so it looks like we're having an invasion of Texans in the area. It took at least 75 minutes to get two sandwiches, a club and a BLT.
Anyway, I overheard one of the women say "I'm a fluffy puppy unicorn!" I don't know the context, but clearly they were having fun. Could potentially make for an interesting short story or the name of a strange prog rock band.
