Jealous for the snow. It's been a rather strange winter so far here in central Maine. Little to know snow. There's a light coating on the ground right now that fell yesterday before it turned to rain. It'll melt before the day is out. Meanwhile far northern Maine has had over 30 inches (76cm for your non-American followers) since November, though the lost a lot of that ground cover with the rain storm that blew through last weekend.
I may have to take an extended weekend trip up north again next month if I want to get out on my cross country skis or snowshoes at all this winter (sigh).
As for the dish thing, never subscribed myself. Got rid of cable when I moved to the current house a little over 13 years ago. I've had an antenna since. It serves its purpose. I don't watch much TV to begin with other than background noise when one of the cats wants lap time.
