Well, looks like I missed out seeing Avengers Endgame in the theater a second time

Rats. I really wanted to see it at least twice. Oh, well. That's the joy of having only one theater with 10 screens locally. Growing up in Phoenix and living there for so long really spoiled me for movie theaters, and they've practically doubled the number of screens in the 14 years that I've been gone!

But they've announced home video release dates: July 30 for cloud through Disney's new streaming stuff and August 13 for home physical media. I'm wondering if it'll be Blue Ray only, as long as the movie is. Apparently they're doing two versions, one that's just the movie and one with bonus material. Gee, I wonder which one I'll be getting!

And I'm DEFINITELY not signing up for Disney's streaming service!

I don't need the extra material, so I'll take the regular DVD.

I love behind the scenes stuff, I'm an absolute junky for seeing how films are made. Always have been, always will be. And I love seeing deleted scenes, outtakes and any documentary stuff.

But to each their own! It's good that they have different editions to accommodate such.

I heard that these actors had no idea what scenes they were acting in and that's why some of the performances sometimes seem...off?

And the Disney streaming service, whew, if this were 2014 I'd be really excited but it all just seems so awful. I think Disney's going to end up shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to their vault and only showing media they own.

If it came down to it, I'm not going to get rid of my Netflix account for Disney. I'm hoping though that since my dad is an employee he'll be able to get the streaming service free eventually.
