The scary part about his supporters is that they will say they are better off, and attribute to him having done things like lowering the deficit, that are the exact opposite of what he actually did. I can understand supporting someone because of racism (detest it, but understand it), but absolutely cannot understand supporting someone for the opposite of what they actually did.
