Dickey's, like a lot of other chain franchises, attempted to come to Maine, but quickly failed. Other failures include (but not inclusive): Krispy Kream Red Lobster (obviously--how could they compete with all the mom and pop places here that feature lobster?) Tim Horton's (in the southern half of the state, sadly)
