Dracula 1897: The Diary

Someone has set up an LJ where they are adapting Bram Stoker's Dracula into a daily diary sort of format. They just started up, I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Um, wasn't the original Bram Stoker's Dracula in diary/letter format?
Where is the point in changing it into a daily diary format?? Miracles of the internet. XD

Dunno, I'm not familiar with the history of how it was published. I'll have to do a little research on it.

I have the book somewhere (in my personal L-space...), and as far as I remember, it's told via letters and diary entries from different persons.
Usually that's a classical romantic format (referring to the era, not the emo ^^), found as well in Goethe's Werther and Wilhelm Meister (Goethe here being pre-romantic ^^), and a lot of other authors.
