I bought a copy of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead off EBay, it's a Korean (I think) edition, but it's the American release with Korean subtitles. And you can turn the subtitles off. It's not, at least of the time of purchase, available with the North America region bit, thus it will not play on my very nice Marantz DVD player.

However....

IT PLAYS ON MY LAPTOP!

In other movie news, Elektra REALLY sucks. Don't bother with it. Seriously. See either of the X-Men movies instead, or go and see The Incredibles again. Save your disappointment and your money.

And I'll be updating the Movie Line Guessing Thingy soon by adding a second line to the ones that remain unguessed. I thought about adding the names of various stars in the film, but I think that I'll go with a second line.

This is the six photo stitch job that I mentioned earlier showing all four spillways doing what they're named after, i.e. spilling. There are two versions and two sizes. The first version shows the white area where the photos were individually rotated for alignment, the other is cropped to not show the white space. The large ones are the full jpeg, the 700 pair are cropped to 700 pixels wide for faster load times.

The exposure is slightly uneven, it was a cloudy day and the brightness levels were changing during the shoot. I hope to do a re-shoot with more attention paid to metering next week, perhaps Monday after I see House of Flying Daggers.

This is really cool. It's the next film by Stephen Chow, who did Shaolin Soccer. Verry funny, you can definitely see the Shaolin Soccer "style" of Matrix/Kung Fu shining through.

Watch all the trailers as they're all different. Best of all -- it's opening theatrically in the US in the middle of March in limited release! I just hope it's not going to be released by Mirimax, or it may become 2031: The Year We See Kung Fu Hustle.
