What is this with Bush and Bolton?
Aug. 2nd, 2005 01:01 amCongress, including Republicans, didn't want this guy to be our UN ambassador. So Bush, as expected, waits for Congress to recess and appoints him. Of course, Bush also complains about The Judiciary creating laws through their interpretations, thus bypassing Congress and the normal law-making process. But it's OK for Bush to go ahead and slam home an appointment that people in his OWN PARTY did not want made. I won't even mention The Administration NOT releasing records about Bolton that were requested by the committee that was vetting him before passing him down to a floor vote.
My biggest problem with Bolton is this:
And what qualifies Michael Bolton to be an ambassador? Sure, he's traveled around the world, that doesn't make him an expert in international relations.
Life just sucks some times.

HIS MUSIC SUCKS!
