The concept is interesting. Allegedly they can build this for $200,000 US, which I think is hopelessly optomistic. I've heard that no nuclear power plant has ever come in on budget, but I don't have any references handy to back that up. Apparently their dampner rods have built-in reaction "poison" -- if the reactor starts overheating, the rods melt, and the poison will quench the reaction, so theoretically the plant cannot melt-down.
Of course no mention is made of how the spent fuel or the (eventually) decommisioned reactor will be safely disposed of.
