This sucks, no explanation given. I went to their start page to find a link to get their name server addresses for a new domain that I'm setting up, and there is a great big sign: "SCOTTSDALE HOSTING IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. For those looking for high quality, affordable and reliable web hosting, we recommend DreamHost."
I just began transferring my domain registrations away from GoDaddy because of of this crap that they pulled in taking down someone's site 45 seconds after sending him notification that they received a take down notice. (to read more about this visit
this site) And now I find that my hosting service may be floundering? BTW, I'm now using
Nearly Free Speech.net for my domain registration. They have some very interesting policies, they also offer the registration privacy service that GoDaddy offers.
I'm not very happy. I sent Scottsdale Hosting a trouble ticket to find out WTF is going on, and if I don't get a satisfactory answer, I guess I'll be looking for a new hosting service. I don't want to, because they have a great deal and were providing very good service.
GARRR!
