For those who haven't heard of Jack, he's made a legal career out of trying to sue computer game developers because of their brain-washing and "training kids to be cop killers". The Florida Bar has finally had enough of him and are in the process of disbarring him. So, in his defense, he's subpoenaed George & Jeb.

Yeah. The President is trying to torpedo a Florida lawyer. I can see that. NOT.

As much as I can't stand the current administration and what it and previous administrations have done to this country, I can't see blaming Bush for this one.

Just plain busy. We flew to Maine three weeks ago, drove to Arizona two weeks ago for the holiday, and are now home. Of course school started during the meanwhilst, and I have to turn in one page every Monday and Wednesday, so I'm actually doing homework. To top it off, the wireless in my apartment totally died. Wednesday night I called Qwest, we did some diagnostic stuff, and they determined that apparently the router was dead, so they sent me a new one. It came in Friday, but I have class Friday night and was thoroughly shagged out when I got home, so I didn't mess with it until Saturday. Commence the putzing, and it becomes apparent that either the replacement is bad, or there's something else wrong. After doing various things to figure out what's going on, the phone rep decides to send out a tech to fiddle with the wiring. We start talking, especially at the point that the rep explains that it may cost me money, and I tell him that I have multiple outlets in my apartment and ask him if they are on different interface cards, he says yes. So I take my DSL router into my 'game' room (unused bedroom now pretending to be a large closet for various boxes of games and stuff) and plug it in, and lo! the DSL light comes on solid!

So we now have my somewhat secure wireless network and are online again without having to use the apartment complexes' wireless which was more than a little bit sucky and blocked World of Warcraft.

We saw it last night and quite enjoyed it. We had fun debating various aspects of the ending. I particularly liked the absence of obvious CGI effects such as Matrix bullet-time effects.
