A dream.... it was just a dream.... :-)
Oct. 4th, 2007 06:55 pmA friend of mine sent me an email this AM....
"In one dream sequence, you became the Vice-President and converted
that dick, Cheney's underground lair into a 1920's style cinema for
showing Toshiro Mifune films. You also issued an edict which stated
that nobody could serve in government unless they could adequately
explain the imagery in "Throne of Blood." Peace and prosperity were
restored."
LOL!
I would hope that I could show other Kurosawa and Japanese cinema from time to time. Hell, if I'm the Veep, I'm sure I could!

They've had big bombs before, but upon closer study of the video, some irregularities begin creeping out.

Steven Spielberg's offices burgled!
Oct. 4th, 2007 07:10 pmAmongst the things taken: the script to Raiders of the Lost Ark 4! The moron of a thief posted ONLINE an offer to sell the script for $2,000. Needless to say a sting buy was quickly set up and the guy is now behind bars.

In other movie theft news....
Coppola Lost 15 Years of Data in Burglary
Filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola lost 15 years of computer data during a recent burglary at his Argentinean home. Five thieves broke into The Godfather director's Buenos Aires house and made off with a laptop containing the script for his new movie Tetro, due to start shooting in February, writings and family photographs. Coppola wasn't home at the time of the break-in, but the burglars threatened a person who was in the property. Although Coppola has saved copies of the Tetro script elsewhere, on Friday he issued a plea for the return of a small computer back-up device. He said, "They stole our computers; they got all our data, many years of work. If I could get the back-up back, it would save me years all the photographs of my family, all my writing." A spokesperson for the Hollywood director says he has offered a reward for the back-up's safe return. Tetro is set to star Matt Damon and is about an artistic Italian immigrant family living in Buenos Aires.
Unfortunately I couldn't find the original story link for the Coppola theft.

It seems that they were hired by the Department of Homeland Security to provide network defense and intruder detection. Unisys certified DHS's network as secure, now it turns out that DHS was hacked for three months last year.
