The ad showed browsing, using Google Maps, etc.: all in a 30 second spot. Well, they were a little off. Turns out that it would take about 2 1/2 minutes to do it all.
The second ad, the one that shows all tasks done in 2.5, has the original 30 second ad in the corner. It's kinda cool to watch. But the thing that I found really interesting is that I've never truly seen the iPhone in use. Now having seen the gestures of what you have to do to browse the net and such, I'm not sure I'd be interested in one. I don't think it would be too easy to use one-handed; maybe the basic "make a phone call" would be easy enough, but the ad doesn't make it clear for me.
I'm boring, I like phones that make calls. As potentially shiny as the iPhone and everything it gives you is, I like being disconnected occasionally if not frequently.
