Does anyone have a Discover card?

I've been watching Food Network Star, and whenever they go shopping, there's always a closeup shot of a Discover card being swiped at the cashier's. But they always show the card name above the scanner. The magnetic stripe on all of my cards is on the top, so when the card is swiped, you can't see the card name/logo. So did Discover move their stripe to the bottom of the card, or are they faking it and that swipe doesn't actually work?
