"Is apparently the new commander of the Democrats' war on women nurses. Because, goodnight, they set them up, and then they throw them under the bus."
—Rep. Louie Gohmert on CDC head Thomas Frieden

Problems couldn't POSSIBLY be related to the sequester and cutting funds to NIH and CDC. Nope. No way. Can't possibly be due to Congress not doing their jobs properly.

Speaking of throwing people under buses, I wonder if we could organize a Million Buss March on DC, and coincide it with a dwarf tossing convention, after all, Congress is full of mighty mental midgets.

A Florida court ruled that police need a warrant to acquire cell tower data, with a stingray or searching telcom records. They threw out Third Party Doctrine, which basically says that since your records are with a third party, that you don't have a reasonable expectation of privacy, an argument that I've always thought was bull.

Obviously this only directly affects Florida, but it does become legal opinion that can be referenced for other courts, it also pretty much guarantees an appeal and that the matter will eventually end up at the Supreme Court.

A comment on the story was quite interesting: "Stingray devices violate the rights of telecoms companies who pay for exclusive spectrum usage rights. The FCC is required by law to make the manufacture and use of these devices illegal - just like cell phone jamming devices." Very true.
