An interesting way to fight ISIS
Dec. 16th, 2015 05:46 amLast week I was reading an article from a reporter who grew up in Syria and lived there for quite a while, he was traveling through Syria and Turkey and encountered a group of freedom fighters, ALL WOMEN, who said that a lot of ISIS fighters run away when faced by them! Apparently they believe that if they're killed by a woman that there's no Valhalla and 49 raisins or virgins waiting for them.
Scott Adams amplifies on this in this blog post, talking about if Hillary becomes president, of starting a PR campaign that we're training up scores of female fighter/bomber and ground attack pilots and sending them all to the Arabian theater.
I find it an interesting thought experiment. I don't think there's any way the USA would engage in a PR campaign that glorifies women soldiers over men as it would hurt our allegedly macho image, and the RNC would be all over that. But why not use PR and psychology in warfare, especially if there's a big vulnerability like this that can be exploited.
