And no, this is not my kink. Just watched Inside Out a couple of months ago. I definitely recommend Sandra & Woo, especially if you like talking raccoons.

OK, an intriguing statement. At least I can be fairly confident she's not having an affair with the pool boy. :-)

Friday night I made pasta carbonara. On the stove we keep a saucer and a three-pronged fork that is exclusively used for feeding Rupert, our blue tick hound. Russet just got home this morning from a two-day workshift, including doing an APOLLO run for the duration of the lunar eclipse last night while working with the NBC morning film crew.

When she went to leave Saturday afternoon, I packed her up with a container of the pasta along with lots of other good things.

Her confession was that after I went to bed Friday night, she wanted to get some pasta out of the pot, so she took it out of the fridge, put it on the stove, and grabbed a fork.

Guess whose fork she grabbed. Well, it was handy!

So apparently the pasta got a little unexpected extra flavoring.

Much to Russet's mortification, I was laughing out loud and gathering more than a few stares in the middle of Chili's before our meal arrived.

The fork was relatively clean, Charlie (the black poodle) scours the fork of any leftover canned food every time we feed Rupert, so there was pretty much nothing in terms of food particles, probably some poodle germs but nothing's happened so far so I'm probably OK. If I start barking or trying to lick myself, then we'll know something's up.
