This morning in the Georgia case, Jenna Ellis, ANOTHER former Trump attorney, plead guilty to a FELONY charge to get the RICO charges dismissed! She's getting five years probation, community service, a fine, gets to write a letter to the citizens of Georgia apologizing for her misdeeds (chef's kiss from me for the letter) AND will definitely be testifying against the remaining defendants. Which happens to include on Donald J. Trump, the previous resident at the White House.

One article that I've seen today reported that Ellis was very unhappy that Trump did nothing to help fund her defense in the Georgia case.

Ellis is the THIRD attorney to flip! Trump's team did some ranting and raving that this simply demonstrates that the RICO charges are just being used to pressure people into flipping. DUH. And it seems to be working! Doesn't mean that there's no conspiracy behind them to justify them! Put the fear of real prison with mandatory years and no early release into people, and they'll start looking for outs.

Now the MAGA world is not very happy with Ms. Ellis - seems she crowd-funded over $200,000 for her anticipated legal fees for the Georgia case! That will pay for a fair amount of representation that she no longer needs. The question is, will she give it back, or can it be considered a fraudulant scheme?

Most amusingly, after The Kracken flipped, the Trumpster went on his anti-social media platform to announce that Sidney was never his attorney! Funny, people have all sorts of captures of previous posts and videos and news articles from him, Rudy, and Sidney, and many others, declaring her to be his attorney.

Just because you say somethin' is so, don't make it so. Well, I guess it's more a matter of just 'cause you DESPERATELY don't want something to have been so doesn't mean that the universe has an undo button. Regardless, we're long past the undo buffer having expired for him to wipe that one out.

Now, this is very bad for Trump. Three attorneys flipped, and they have very detailed high-level insider information on how they would try to change the election results. This is going to put a huge amount of pressure on Trump and the remaining defendants. Odds are that more will seek plea deals and it's guaranteed that there's a queue to talk to Willis and the judge. It's going to create a huge mountain of evidence against Trump for the Georgia case,

And there's more. In DC.

Special Council Jack Smith got Mark Meadows to flip. He's testified before a grand jury about his role as the White House Chief of Staff who set up the phone call between Trump and the Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger about finding the 11,780 votes. Meadows is also charged in the Georgia case, and since he's flipped for the Feds, I'd say he's going to flip in the Georgia case in the next couple of days.

Just to round things out for Trump's no good, very bad day, Michael Cohen testified in the New York trial that could result in the Trump family losing their business license, all their commercial properties in the state of New York, and their ability to operate businesses there for five years. Cohen was supposed to testify last week but had a medical problem that had to be seen to.

Under oath he said “He would look at the total assets and say ‘I’m actually not worth 4.5 billion. I am really worth more like $6 billion,’” Cohen said. “My responsibility, along with Allen Weisselberg predominantly, was to reverse engineer the various different asset classes and increase those assets […] to achieve a number Mr. Trump asked us.”

Cohen took his lumps and did time: he was convicted in 2018 of campaign finance violations and sentenced to 36 months in prison, he was released in early 2020 without having been pardoned by his former boss.
