Man, what a heart-breaker. I came in part way through the first period and watched the rest of the game. How sad. Some great play, and then to end the way it did in OT.

*sigh*

At least they've got plenty of good beer that works equally well to celebrate or to drown sorrows in.

Well, at least it was better than the way Australia got booted out. In a scoreless game, the Aussies were called for a controversial (from what I heard) penalty with under two minutes remaining. Their opponents got a free kick, scored, and won the game 1-0.

Man. True football is such a nasty game emotionally. Sort of like the Suns in the playoffs.
