w00t! My laptop charger came in today!

An actual IBM adapter and it works great! Looks like it was brand new, the power cord doesn't have any non-original bends. It'll be nice to stop using my wife's adapter: it has a short in the bend that sometimes was good and charged my battery, sometimes it was open and didn't charge, and sometimes it flipped back and forth, causing my display to flicker. Not good. Since Russet uses it to power her laptop as sort of a fixed installation, it sits in an almost permanent spot on the dining table (we rarely get to eat together due to our schedules).

So my saga with the stupid semi-incompetent computer repair company is at an end for now. Basically the only way that I'll use them again is if my system board fails again before the extended warranty is up.
