My friends adopted a dog from a well known rescue place. One day they had Toby with them and a couple with the same breed of dogs with them stopped to pet him. They said they'd seen a picture of a dog with 3 legs that looked a lot like Toby except his name was Bob and he was really skinny.
Toby used to be Bob before he was rescued. That picture on the net was the one I saw and forwarded to my friends which caused them to drive cross county to adopt Bob/Toby...
